The "Fifth Season of the Year" as Carnival is called, begins on November 11th, at 11:11 AM. It is one of the biggest carnival in Germany. These Carnival "Crazy Days" are celebrated with all sorts of parties, be they on the street, in public squares or in pubs. Due to the "Crazy" nature of this festive time of year, all pubs and bars have extended business hours, to ensure that everyone has a great time celebrating the "Fifth Season of the Year."
It is a Roman Catholic church in Cologne and Cologne's most famous landmark, described by UNESCO as an "exceptional work of human creative genius". It is visited by 20 thousand people every day.
